Only 7 km out of Bodrum and you're in Bitez, a small village and a lovely bay dotted with hotels and motels offering a wide choice of accomodations and restaurants featuring Turkish and international cuisines. The light wind in the morning and a stronger wind in the afternoon make it an ideal place for windsurfers. Bitez promotes water sports and hosts a number of national and international contests. There is also a windsurfing school.
