[ Turgutreis ]

Turgutreis, a modern resort 18 km from Bodrum, takes its name from a famous Ottoman admiral. Turgutreis boasts one of the most modern and best equipped marinas in the Mediterranean. Its beaches extend for about 2.5 kilometers, from where you can see a string of small islands. At Yassiada, underwater archaelogical excavations are carried out since 1961.
